Air India Plane Crashes into Building in Ahmedabad

An Air India flight bound for London crashed shortly after take-off. Flight AI171 was operating the route from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick, carrying 232 passengers and 12 crew members at the time of the accident.
Initial reports indicate that the aircraft crashed into a residential area, striking the rooftop of a building that is believed to be a hospital.

According to tracking website Flightradar24, the last signal from the aircraft was recorded at an altitude of 625 feet (190 meters), just seconds after departing the runway.
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the crash site, battling thick smoke and initiating rescue efforts.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, and further updates regarding any casualties.
