ALGIERS – Algeria has condemned the tragic attack in the American city of New Orleans, which resulted in several deaths and innocent injuries, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs on Thursday.

Following this attack, Algeria extended its sincere condolences and deep feelings of compassion to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured, according to the statement.

“While condemning in the strongest terms this heinous attack that occurred while the world was celebrating the arrival of the New Year, Algeria expresses its full solidarity with the friendly American people during this painful time, affirming its confidence in their ability to overcome this ordeal,” the source added.
