President Tebboune receives the French Minister of the Interior

ALGIERS – The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received, Sunday in Algiers, the French interior Minister, Mr Gérald Darmanin.

In a statement at the end of this audience, Mr. Darmanin said he was “honored” to have been received “at length” by the President of the Republic to “bring him a message from the President of the French Republic “, Mr. Emmanel Macron, “a message of friendship and esteem, of course”, he underlined.

The French minister praised, at the same time, the work that the two countries do together, particularly with regard to cooperation in matters of civil security, migration and judicial police. He also indicated that he had expressed to the President of the Republic “all the esteem and all the friendship that we have for the Algerian people and the very strong ties that the two Presidents have been able to build.”
