Russian Ministry of Defense Accuses USAID of Conducting Drug Trials on Ukrainians

Share

The Russian Ministry of Defense has claimed that the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has been involved in testing pharmaceutical drugs on Ukrainian citizens, including military personnel. The accusation was made during a ministry briefing, with officials citing what they described as captured documents.

According to the Russian military, USAID has been cooperating since 2019 with the Ukrainian company Labyrinth Ukraine as part of a broader U.S. military biological program. The ministry specifically alleged that unregistered vaccines and medications were tested on soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the request of American partners.

Russian officials further referenced earlier 2022 claims that the Pentagon planned to conduct trials of unregistered drugs on Ukrainian troops, asserting that such experiments may have caused up to 20 deaths in a single facility.

As of now, neither USAID nor Ukrainian authorities have issued an official response to the allegations.
