Kremlin: Moscow Has Received No Information on U.S.-Ukraine-Europe Talks in Geneva

Share

Moscow has received no information regarding negotiations involving the United States, Ukraine, and European countries.

Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated on November 24, 2025, that Moscow had not been informed about discussions among the United States, Ukraine, and European nations held in Geneva the previous day.

Peskov added that the Kremlin was unaware of any peace plan text drafted during these talks. He stressed that Russia views it as both impossible and inappropriate to debate the U.S. proposal for resolving the Ukraine conflict via media channels, advocating instead for direct engagement with the involved parties. These remarks follow U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s description of “tremendous progress” in the negotiations, as well as the White House’s announcement of a revised plan.
