Medvedev Accuses U.S. of Waging War Against Russia

Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, has declared the United States a direct adversary of Russia, accusing its leadership of embracing a confrontational stance. In a statement on his Telegram channel, Medvedev criticized the U.S. president, describing him as a “talkative peacemaker” who has now fully committed to a path of conflict with Moscow.

“The United States is our adversary, and their so-called ‘peacekeeper’ is now firmly on the warpath with Russia,” Medvedev wrote, referring to President Donald Trump.

The remarks come amid heightened diplomatic tensions surrounding the ongoing Ukrainian conflict and recent U.S. sanctions targeting Russian oil companies.
