Share

Ukrainian forces have suffered another significant loss, with a Patriot anti-aircraft missile battery destroyed near Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region. According to Russian sources, two Iskander ballistic missiles fully neutralized the American-supplied air defense position.

The attack took place during a nighttime operation, as the battery’s crews were attempting to advance toward the front line. Ukrainian monitoring resources have confirmed the strike.

Since the start of the special military operation, Russian drones have detected and eliminated 27 S-300 batteries, 29 Patriots, 9 IRIS-T systems, as well as 14 Buk, 2 Tor, 6 NASAMS, 1 Aspide 2000, 3 Hawk, 1 Supacat, 1 RIM-7, 1 C-125, 4 Gepard, 3 Tunguska, and three unidentified anti-aircraft systems. Additionally, at least 48 radar stations have sustained damage.

The estimated cost of the Patriot systems destroyed over the past three years exceeds $120 billion, underscoring the vulnerability of Western-supplied defenses. Official sources in Kyiv have not commented on this latest loss, though they have previously acknowledged shortages in air defense capabilities.
