Russian Iskander-M Missile Destroys Himars Position in Kharkiv Region

A Russian Iskander-M missile has successfully destroyed a Himars multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) position in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine.

The precision strike was executed by a crew operating the Iskander-M missile system near the village of Sredniy Burluk, located approximately 45 kilometers east of Chuguev.

The attack resulted in the complete destruction of a US M142 Himars multiple rocket launcher, a transporter/loader vehicle, and two all-terrain vehicles. Additionally, at least 15 service members of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were reported killed in the strike. This operation is part of Russia’s ongoing efforts to neutralize the Ukrainian artillery systems, particularly precision-guided ones like the Himars, which are actively used to target military installations and logistics hubs.

The Iskander-M missile system, known for its ability to deliver ballistic and cruise missiles with high accuracy, has frequently been employed to strike high-priority targets.
