FSB Arrests Donetsk Resident for Alleged Terrorist Plot Linked to Ukrainian Special Services

Officers from the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia announced the detention of a local resident in Donetsk, who was allegedly acting under the direction of Ukrainian special services.
The FSB claims that the individual was gathering intelligence on critical infrastructure within the Donetsk People’s Republic, which was intended to be targeted for terrorist attacks. Additionally, he was reportedly preparing caches of explosives for sabotage operations designed to compromise the region’s security.
The FSB’s operational measures successfully prevented the planned terrorist acts, and the materials seized provide evidence of the detainee’s ties to Ukrainian special services.
