Recent reports from revealed that Iran has formulated a comprehensive response plan in the event of an Israeli military strike. This plan includes an immediate counteroffensive using hundreds of ballistic missiles. The rising tensions, exacerbated by the collapse of nuclear negotiations and escalating military threats, are raising concerns about a potential large-scale conflict between Tehran and the Israeli entity , which could destabilize the Middle East and lead to significant global economic repercussions.
The Iranian strategy reportedly involves the deployment of advanced ballistic missiles, such as the Fateh-110 and Zulfiqar, which possess a striking range of up to 700 kilometers. Iranian Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh confirmed, in a statement the country’s readiness for retaliation, referencing the recent test of the Khorramshahr-4 missile, which is equipped with a two-ton warhead. This rhetoric has heightened tensions, particularly in light of reports that Israel has finalized plans for a strike on Iranian nuclear facilities and has informed the United States of its intentions.
In addition to military preparations, cyberattacks have emerged as a significant risk factor in this ongoing conflict. Reports of increase in hacking incidents believed to originate from Iranian sources, which have disrupted air defense systems in Israel and surrounding countries, including Iraq and Lebanon. Iran’s cyber operations, which have targeted Israeli command and control systems, showcase Tehran’s evolving proficiency in hybrid warfare tactics.
