Around 47 Injured During Aid Distribution Rush in Gaza: UN Reports

A senior UN official announced on Wednesday that around 47 individuals were injured, primarily from gunfire by the Israeli military, as thousands rushed to a newly opened aid distribution center in Gaza.
Ajith Sunghay, head of the UN Human Rights Office in the Palestinian territories, stated, “There are about 47 people who have been injured” during the incident that occurred on Tuesday. He emphasized that “most of those injured are due to gunshots” and confirmed that “it was shooting from the IDF.”
