Algeria | Successful Execution of “Resilience 2025” Exercise Marks Second Day of Army General Said Changriha’s Visit to the Second Military Region.

Army General Said Changriha, the Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, oversaw the execution of a live-fire tactical exercise named “Resilience 2025”

This exercise was carried out by units of the 36th Mechanized Infantry Brigade, supported by various forces and arms, marking the culmination of the 2024/2025 combat preparation year.

At the firing and maneuvering field of the region, and accompanied by General Mohamed Tayeb Brakni, Commander of the Second Military Region, General Changriha listened to a presentation from the commander of the 36th Mechanized Infantry Brigade. The presentation outlined the overall concept and stages of the exercise, which aims to enhance combat capabilities and cooperation among different branches, as well as train leadership and staff in preparing, planning, and conducting operations in response to potential threats.

Following the briefing, General Changriha closely monitored the combat activities conducted by the participating units, which demonstrated a high level of professionalism at all stages with excellent tactical and operational performance. This reflects the combat readiness of personnel and leaders at all levels, especially regarding the optimal use of terrain and high-level coordination among the various participating units. It also highlights the high competence of the staff in planning and managing various combat operations and the skill and capability of individuals in utilizing the available weapon systems and equipment, contributing to very satisfactory results evidenced by the accuracy of fire from different weapons.

At the conclusion of the exercise, General Changriha met with the personnel from the units involved in this tactical exercise, which was deemed a complete success at all planning, preparation, and execution levels. This success genuinely reflected the level of preparation of the personnel and showcased the high competencies and skills of the leaders and staff. General Changriha took the opportunity to congratulate the personnel of the participating units for their significant efforts throughout the 2024/2025 combat preparation year, emphasizing the importance of continuing to strive for the enhancement and development of all components of the People’s National Army, propelling them toward further successes to ensure the security and stability of Algeria.

Following this, General Changriha conducted inspections of the 36th Mechanized Infantry Brigade units and other participating units in the exercise.
