The Zionist Entity Resumes Its Gaza Genocide

Share

The Israeli occupation’s army has reinitiated its offensive against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, leaving a trail of devastation in its wake. Reports indicate that airstrikes have claimed the lives of at least 342 individuals, including numerous children, with medical sources in Gaza confirming the casualties.

One of the most notable attacks occurred at a refugee camp near Khan Yunis, where significant civilian casualties were reported. Preliminary reports suggest that the strike may have killed Abu Ubaidah al-Jamasi, a member of Hamas’ political bureau, along with his family.

The decision to resume hostilities was reached by Netanyahu and his Defense Minister Israel Katz following consultations with military leaders. Israeli officials argue that the escalation was unavoidable after Hamas dismissed peace proposals relayed by U.S. Special Representative to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, and other mediators, including Qatar and Egypt.

Hamas has accused Israel of breaching the terms of a previous truce and warned that the ongoing military actions jeopardize the lives of hostages. The fate of these individuals now hangs in uncertainty as tensions continue to mount.

The latest surge in conflict follows the breakdown of talks initiated in January 2025, where both parties, facilitated by U.S. and Qatari intermediaries, had agreed to a temporary ceasefire and a prisoner exchange.
