Share

A missile strike targeted a training ground used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Novomoskovsky area of the Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in significant destruction. The operational-tactical missile system “Iskander-M” was employed in the attack, using a cluster warhead that caused extensive damage to the facility.

At the time of the strike, approximately 150 personnel, including servicemen from the 157th mechanized brigade and foreign instructors, were present at the training ground. Reports indicate that these instructors were providing training to Ukrainian forces on combat strategies.

Sources suggest that the intelligence operations leading up to the strike were highly effective, providing accurate information regarding the location and number of personnel at the base. The missile strike resulted in devastating casualties, effectively neutralizing the training ground as a functional military site.

The Novomoskovsky facility has been a key location for the Ukrainian military, facilitating the training of new units, including those intended for operations against Russian territories. The recent strike underscores the ongoing challenges faced by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as they contend with threats not only on the front lines but also in their rear areas.

In the context of the ongoing conflict, such missile strikes have raised concerns about the safety and security of military training operations in Ukraine. The incident adds to a series of recent attacks on Ukrainian military assets, highlighting the complexities of the current military landscape.
