Algeria – Algeria expressed on Tuesday its strong condemnation of the Zionist entity’s army violation of Syria’s sovereignty and aggression against its territories after it seized the buffer zone in the occupied Golan, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad, and African Affairs.
The statement said: “Algeria expresses its strong condemnation of the Zionist entity’s army violation of Syria’s sovereignty and aggression against its territories after it seized the buffer zone in the occupied Golan and announced the cancellation of the 1974 disengagement agreement, exploiting the current circumstances Syria is going through and the instability in the region, to impose a new fait accompli in line with the expansionist and settlement policy pursued by the Zionist occupation authorities.”
Algeria also condemned “the repeated aggressions of the occupation army against Syrian facilities and institutions, which have escalated recently,” according to the same source.
The statement added that “while affirming Algeria’s steadfast position in support of Syria’s unity and the integrity of its territories, and its legitimate right to recover the occupied Golan in accordance with the relevant international laws and charters, it calls on the international community to take a united stance to preserve the security, safety, and unity of Syrian territories.”
