G7: President Tebboune, Intense activity and several meetings and interviews with world leaders.

Bari (Italy) – The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, had an intense activity on Friday in Bari, Italy, during his participation in the work of the G7 Summit, through several meetings and interviews with a number of world leaders and heads of state of brotherly and friendly countries, as well as heads of regional organizations.

The President of the Republic began his activity in the morning, receiving the President of the Republic of Kenya, Mr. William Ruto, at his residence, before heading to Borgo Ignacia, which hosts the summit, where he was received upon his arrival by the President of the Italian Council, Ms Giorgia Meloni.

On site, the President of the Republic shook hands with the leaders of the Group of Seven countries, as well as the heads of state of several countries, in addition to the leaders of international, regional and continental bodies and organizations.

Before the start of the summit, which addressed numerous subjects and issues, including the situation in the Gaza Strip, in Palestine, as well as immigration and development in Africa, in addition to climate change and artificial intelligence, the President of the Republic spoke with the leaders of the major countries of the world.

On the sidelines of his participation in the G7 summit, which brings together the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Japan, Germany, Italy and Canada, the President of the Republic met his Mauritanian counterpart, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, and also received the President of the European Council, Mr. Charles Michel.

The President of the Republic also received the Head of the Tunisian Government, Mr. Ahmed Hachani.

On the occasion, the President of the Republic took a family photo with the leaders and participants at the summit.

Arriving Thursday in the Italian city of Bari to participate in this summit, which will be held from June 13 to 15, the President of the Republic, received, on the first day of his stay, at his residence, Masseria San Francesco, the French President , Mr. Emmanuel Macron.

The President of the Republic will continue his participation in the summit on Saturday.
