The 11th session of the Algerian-French political consultations held in Algiers

Algiers – The 11th session of the Algerian-French political consultations was held Tuesday in Algiers, co-chaired by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Lounes Magramane, and the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, Anne-Marie Decot, according to a statement by the ministry.

The session was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad in Algiers, allowed “a comprehensive assessment of the reality of relations at the political level and bilateral cooperation in all fields, including the economy and the movement of people,” the statement adds.

The same source pointed out that “international and regional issues of common interest were also the subject of discussion among the high officials, especially the situation in the Sahel region, Mali, the Middle East, and in particular the situation in Palestine and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, as well as the issue of Western Sahara.”.
