The President of the Republic pays tribute to the memory of the martyrs of the War of Liberation

ALGIERS – The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, prayed, Wednesday, at the martyrs’ sanctuary (Algiers), in memory of the martyrs of the Glorious War of National Liberation, on the occasion of the commemoration of the 69th anniversary of the outbreak of the Revolution of November 1, 1954.

After reviewing a formation of the Republican Guard who paid him the honors, President Tebboune laid a wreath of flowers in front of the commemorative stele and recited the Fatiha of the Holy Quran in memory of the martyrs of the Revolution.

The meditation ceremony took place in the presence of senior state officials and members of the government.
