Occupied EL QODS – The UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) warned on Sunday of an “unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe” underway in Palestine.
“Not a drop of water, not a grain of wheat, not a liter of fuel has been allowed to enter Gaza in the last eight days,” said Philippe Lazzarini, the head of UNRWA, during a press conference, believing that “Ghaza is being strangled”. “An unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe” is unfolding in the Palestinian territory, he warned.
This alert comes as the Zionist occupying forces continued their aggression against the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank on Sunday for the ninth consecutive day, sparking numerous calls for Arab and international institutions to intervene to put an end to these crimes and to make it possible to provide humanitarian aid to the population of the Palestinian enclave.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the attacks carried out since October 7 by the occupying forces rose on Sunday to 2,506 martyrs and 10,400 injured among Palestinians.
