Palestine: Massive worldwide protests denounce Zionist aggression and call for relief in besieged Gaza Strip

Algeria – Many countries of the world witnessed on Friday massive popular demonstrations denouncing the ongoing Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, while calls are rising to accelerate the opening of humanitarian corridors to relieve the population of the besieged Strip, which is being subjected to real annihilation, in light of the attempts to displace the Palestinians from their land.
Millions of people around the world responded to the resistance’s call to demonstrate on “Friday of the Al-Aqsa Flood,” in support of Palestine and denouncing the Zionist aggression, which has entered its seventh day.
From the West Bank, Lebanon and Jordan, passing through Iraq, Iran, Bahrain, the Sultanate of Oman, Qatar, Egypt and Tunisia, crowds of demonstrators came out in support of Palestine and denouncing the Zionist entity’s settlement policies and the displacement of Palestinians from their lands, and the ongoing violations against Al-Aqsa Mosque and its crimes committed in the Gaza Strip, including the killing of women and children and the destruction of the Infrastructures.
The demonstrators also denounced what they considered “the failure of the international community and international organizations” to provide relief to the residents of the besieged Gaza Strip, demanding the opening of humanitarian corridors to deliver aid.
Algeria also witnessed the organization of a stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people and denouncing the brutal Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip, during which support was renewed for the people of this people and their just cause and their right to resist to seize freedom was affirmed, while calling on the international community to break its silence and protect the Palestinians.
Outside the Arab world, Turkey, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and the Kashmir region witnessed huge marches in support of the Palestinian people and their steadfastness in the face of the Zionist death machine, demanding that all forms of support and relief be provided to the besieged region .
The scope of the demonstrations expanded to include European, Asian, and American countries, as members of the Palestinian community, activists, and those in solidarity with Palestine in Greece, Russia, Venezuela, Cuba, and the Maldives took part in similar events, in rejection of the displacement and destruction to which the Palestinians are exposed, and in support of the Palestinian people and in support of the Palestinian resistance.
Gaza Strip: a catastrophic situation and calls to accelerate the opening of humanitarian corridors
Meanwhile, the Zionist death machine continues to claim more civilian lives in the West Bank and Gaza Strip for the seventh day in a row, killing 1,843 martyrs and 7,138 injured, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, which indicated that more than 50 percent of the Palestinian martyrs in the Gaza Strip so far are Of children and women.
In parallel, the Zionist entity cut off the supply of water, electricity, food and other basic facilities to Gaza, threatening the residents of the Gaza Strip by targeting all its homes and public shelters, and anyone who approaches the wall separating the occupying entity from the Gaza Strip.
In the face of the worsening situation, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas affirmed his complete rejection of the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, because that would be tantamount to a “second catastrophe,” stressing the need to stop the Zionist aggression immediately, and demanded allowing urgent humanitarian corridors to be opened to the Gaza Strip, and the provision of medical supplies, And delivering water, electricity and fuel to the citizens there.
The United Nations considered that the “impossible” mass transfer process that the occupation authorities want to impose would affect 1.1 million, or about half of the population of the Gaza Strip, and urgently called for the order to be cancelled, while its spokesman considered that this evacuation order could transform “what is already “Tragedy to catastrophic situation.”
In this context, the United Nations rapporteur on human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, described the situation in the besieged Gaza Strip as “catastrophic,” calling for an end to the Zionist aggression, an end to the bombing of Palestinian civilians, and the immediate opening of humanitarian corridors for the wounded and those in critical condition in Gaza.
The United Nations revealed that more than 423,000 people were forced to leave their homes in the besieged Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to brutal Zionist aggression and violent bombing for a week. In the face of this dangerous situation, the United Nations launched an urgent appeal to collect donations to help the Palestinians in the occupied territories, stressing the need to provide about $294 million to 77 partners in the humanitarian field, in order to meet the most urgent needs of about 1.26 million people in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
